About the firm

WGI is a national award-winning design and professional services firm headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida. Founded in 1972 as Wantman & Associates, Inc. and rebranded as WGI in 2016, it now ranks #171 on the 2024 ENR Top 500 Design Firms list - its tenth consecutive year in the top 200. WGI serves public infrastructure and real estate development clients across the United States through civil, transportation, structural, and environmental engineering; MEP; geospatial and land surveying; landscape architecture; architecture; parking solutions; planning; and digital services. Strategic acquisitions have expanded capabilities into parking structure engineering (Carl Walker), Texas markets (BIG RED DOG Engineering and Anston-Greenlees), North Carolina transportation (Simpson Engineers & Associates), geospatial aerial mapping and LiDAR (The Atlantic Group, now operating as WGI Geospatial), and South Florida transportation (Roadway Design Solutions). A strategic financial partnership with First Reserve supports continued organic growth and acquisition-led expansion. WGI achieved CMMC Level 2 certification among the first AEC firms to reach this standard.
