Projects

Disposable Ampule Cracker

Medical Devices · 2020

Project details

Designed and developed a plastic sheath with an integrated bellows that slides over glass ampoules used in orthopedic operating rooms. The bellows contains shards and sharp slivers to protect technicians, while a filtered pour spout reduces glass transfer into the bone cement mix.

DJO Uni Knee Implants

Medical Devices · 2021 · Client: DJO

Project details

Collaborated on the development of a unicompartmental knee arthroplasty (UKA) implant system. Analyzed competing systems and articulating surfaces using anatomical scan data to design an anthropometric geometry across six bone sizes that supports unconstrained articulation, preserves bone, and minimizes overhang.
