Groundbreaking Work That Moves People
Toole Design is a mid-sized planning, engineering, and landscape architecture practice founded in 2003 and dedicated exclusively to active and multimodal transportation. With more than 350 staff across North America, the practice designs streets, trails, sidewalks, and transit infrastructure that make walking and biking safe, convenient, and enjoyable for people of all ages and abilities. It does not engage in work aimed at moving more cars faster, and applies its New Es of Transportation framework of ethics, empathy, and equity to every project.
