About the firm

SK&A Structural Engineers is a Washington, DC-based structural engineering consulting practice founded in 1960. It provides structural engineering, building enclosure consulting, repair and restoration, and testing and inspection services for new and existing buildings. With 31 registered engineers on staff and licensure in 29 states, SK&A combines the capabilities of a large organization with the personal attention of a boutique practice. It has engineered more than 805 million square feet of space and is a signatory of the SE 2050 Challenge aimed at reducing embodied carbon in the construction industry.
