Founded in 1997 and headquartered in Orlando, Protean Design Group is a Florida civil and transportation engineering consultancy with more than 25 years of experience. Specializing in highway design, traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems, and transportation planning, it holds FDOT prequalifications across highway design, bridge structures, traffic engineering, and planning work groups. Five offices spanning Orlando, Tampa, Tallahassee, Pensacola, and Punta Gorda support delivery of public-sector roadway and traffic projects from Florida's Panhandle to South Florida.
