Advancing Engineering in the Built Environment
MW Engineers is the Inland Northwest's premier MEP engineering practice, headquartered in Spokane, Washington. With over 40 years of experience, it delivers mechanical, electrical, and architectural lighting design for healthcare, higher education, commercial, and institutional clients across nine states and 23 countries. MW also operates Escent Lighting Design, its dedicated architectural lighting division founded in 1998.
AVIXA CTS-D - Certified Technology Specialist - Design · BICSI RCDD - Registered Communications Distribution Designer · Ekahau ECSE - Certified Survey Engineer for Wireless Designer
MW's mechanical team designs purposefully integrated systems that are sustainably focused and built for long-term maintainability. Engineers engage all project stakeholders from the earliest design stages, coordinating controls with other building systems to maximize occupant comfort, indoor air quality, and operational efficiency.
MW's electrical engineers integrate all building systems across disciplines, from initial goal-setting through value engineering and end-user training. Close coordination between electrical, mechanical, and communications designers ensures a consistent design philosophy and reliable, cost-effective outcomes across a broad range of project types.
An in-house team of RCDD-credentialed communications distribution designers and AVIXA CTS-D certified specialists designs, specifies, and integrates data, telecom, and wireless infrastructure systems.
Escent Lighting Design, MW's in-house architectural lighting division since 1998, creates beautiful, functional, and sustainable environments through a rigorous and collaborative design process for interior and exterior spaces. Escent designers work alongside MW's electrical engineers and can engage as part of a full MEP package or as a standalone service for other project teams.
