Formulates engineering specifications for deep support elements including piles, micropiles, and drilled shafts.

    • Soil Nailing and Earth Retention

Engineers stabilization methods for steep slopes, excavations, and retaining walls using passive steel reinforcement and structural barriers.

    • Landslide and Boulder Mitigation

Develops protective structures and remediation plans to mitigate hazards from slope failures and falling debris.

  • Geotechnical Laboratory Testing

Performs standard and advanced material characterization testing on soils and rock samples within certified testing laboratories.

  • Geotechnical Construction Services

Monitors earthwork, grading, and foundation installations on-site to verify compliance with engineering specifications.

  • Dewatering and Excavation Support

Advises on subsurface water control, sheet piling, and shoring systems to maintain dry and stable excavation zones.

Environmental Consulting

Service website

Assists public and private entities in navigating regulatory frameworks, assessing site contamination, and implementing effective remediation strategies.

  • Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments

Conducts historical research and field sampling to identify recognized environmental conditions and potential site contamination.

  • Environmental Planning and Permitting

Secures essential environmental clearances, including National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits and Special Management Area approvals.

  • Stormwater Management and Permitting

Prepares comprehensive pollution prevention plans and erosion control strategies to manage run-off during and after construction.

  • Environmental Assessments and Impact Statements

Evaluates potential ecological, cultural, and community impacts of proposed development projects to satisfy environmental review mandates.

  • Underground Storage Tank Characterization

Performs detailed site characterizations, monitoring, and permitting for underground fuel and chemical storage systems.

  • Soil and Groundwater Investigation

Executes precision sampling and laboratory analysis to map chemical impacts in subsurface soil and groundwater systems.

  • Remedial Investigation and Action Planning

Designs and implements feasible cleanup strategies, engineering controls, and long-term risk management plans for compromised properties.

  • Environmental Construction Management

Oversees active construction sites to ensure environmental protection plans, waste management protocols, and permit conditions are followed.

Water Resources and Hydrogeology

Service website

Evaluates subsurface hydrology, water supply potential, and contaminant migration pathways using scientific analysis and modeling.

  • Groundwater Modeling

Simulates aquifer behavior and groundwater flow regimes to assess resource availability and long-term sustainability.

  • Contaminant Fate and Transport Studies

Predicts how chemical substances move and degrade through subsurface geological formations and aquifers over time.

  • Well Design and Permitting

Engineers water supply and injection wells, manages regulatory permitting, and conducts rigorous testing to verify capacity.
