Innovative designs for a sustainable tomorrow.
Luchini Trujillo Structural Engineers, Inc. (LTSE) is a New Mexico structural engineering practice founded in 2014, with offices in Santa Fe and Albuquerque. Licensed professional engineers, each holding a master's degree, and engineering technicians with more than 55 years of combined staff experience have delivered over 1,800 projects across eight states. LTSE works across civic, educational, historic preservation, commercial, multifamily, healthcare, and government sectors, engaging structural systems at the concept stage to keep high-design builds on schedule and within budget. Advanced Revit coordination and multi-engineer peer review are central to every engagement.
LTSE engineers structural systems in steel, light gauge, concrete, masonry, and wood, working from first sketches through construction administration. All project documents are peer-reviewed by multiple licensed engineers to ensure code compliance and field practicality.
Structural system selection, schematic design, design development, and construction documents for new buildings of all types, with direct client coordination from concept through final walk-through.
Rehabilitation of existing buildings including historic landmarks and seismic retrofits, enhancing safety and functionality while preserving original character and minimizing cost.
Engineering for non-building structures including statues, art installations, monuments, and custom architectural elements, applying the same rigor used for occupied buildings.
Shared Revit models give every project stakeholder real-time structural visibility, enabling clash detection and coordinated issue resolution well before construction begins.
Engineer-of-Record services integrated within design-build teams, coordinating directly with general contractors to accelerate decisions and reduce costly field conflicts.
Pre-design structural assessments covering site conditions, material availability, and approach to confirm project viability and inform early cost planning before full design begins.
Post-event structural investigation and adequacy assessment for damaged or failed buildings, with documented findings and recovery recommendations based on rigorous safety criteria.
