Evaluates zoning, local development ordinances, and physical site parameters to identify constraints.
Reviews geotechnical studies, Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), and utility infrastructure availability.
Identifies jurisdictional requirements, including Department of Transportation parameters affecting the property.
Develops conceptual site layout options that align client goals with local ordinances, regulatory parameters, and physical site conditions.
Translates conceptual plans into complete civil engineering drawings, calculations, and documentation required for permit approvals and site construction.
Prepares detailed civil design layouts, utility connections, grading designs, and standard details.
Collaborates with structural, MEP, architectural, and environmental consultants to ensure a unified and consistent design package.
Designs stormwater management infrastructure to prevent flooding, control runoff, and meet local, state, and federal regulatory standards.
