About the firm
Island Geotechnical Engineering (IGE) is a full-service Geotechnical Engineering firm established on Maui, Hawaii in 1997. IGE provides geotechnical subsurface investigations, foundation engineering, earth construction observation and testing, rock fall and slope stability analysis, percolation testing, and pavement design for residential, commercial, industrial, and government clients throughout the Hawaiian Islands and Guam. AASHTO-accredited soil laboratories on Maui and the Big Island support material testing performed to ASTM and AASHTO standards. IGE's team of licensed Professional Engineers and Engineering Technicians carries ACI and HDOT certifications.
