Projects

TRC-170 Tropo-Scatter Power Supply Redesign

Defense · Client: U.S. Marine Corps / U.S. Army

Project details

Designed and submitted prototype DC power supplies for the TRC-170 Tropo-scatter communication system that are cooled without drawing air through the supply. Prototypes were accepted by both the Marine Corps depot at Albany and the Army depot at Tobyhanna.

ARES Patriot Radar Portable Element Screener

Redstone Arsenal, AL · Defense · Client: U.S. Army / FMA Redstone Arsenal

Project details

Designed the electronics for the ARES Patriot Radar element screener assembled by FMA Redstone Arsenal. The screener enables onsite element screening so failing units do not need to be sent to depot, reducing replacement costs and man-hours.

AN/GRM-122 Smart Battery Replacement

Defense · Client: U.S. Department of Defense

Project details

Designed a replacement for the obsolete smart battery in the AN/GRM-122 military radio test set.
