Capabilities

Geospatial Solutions and GIS Analysis

Leverages geographic information systems and spatial data to support infrastructure projects, engineering, and environmental planning.

  • Geodatabase Development

Creates structured, spatial databases to organize and manage complex geographic datasets for municipal and private clients.

  • GIS Mapping and Cartography

Develops precise base mapping and cartographic outputs, including foundational maps for regional studies.

  • Remote Sensing

Processes and analyzes satellite and aerial imagery to extract environmental and geographic insights.

  • GIS Training

Provides educational instruction and technical guidance to equip teams with essential geospatial skills.

Floodplain Management

Addresses regulatory and non-regulatory flood challenges through advanced mapping, hazard assessments, and compliance strategies.

  • FEMA Risk MAP

Supports regional flood insurance studies and hazard identification initiatives under federal mapping frameworks.

  • Flood Hazard Mapping

Generates detailed spatial representations of flood zones to identify areas prone to inundation.

  • No-Rise Certification for Developers

Assists land developers in demonstrating that proposed activities will not increase regional flood elevations.

  • Compound Flood Modeling

Simulates overlapping flood drivers, such as storm surges and rainfall runoff, to evaluate complex risks.

  • Climate Adaptation and Sea Level Rise Planning

Models future environmental conditions from extreme weather to help communities prepare for rising sea levels.

Stormwater and Water Resources

Protects life, property, and natural ecosystems through regional drainage planning and water conservation techniques.

  • Stormwater Master Planning

Analyzes drainage networks and provides recommendations to manage runoff and guide capital improvements.

  • Watershed Master Planning

Conducts multi-jurisdictional studies to manage water flow, reduce flood risks, and protect regional basins.

  • Water Quality Solutions

Identifies methods to safeguard water resources, reduce pollutants, and improve ecological health.

  • Community Rating System Evaluation

Assists communities in evaluating local stormwater programs to improve their FEMA program standings.

Asset Management

Tracks and evaluates public works and utility assets to optimize long-term capital and community development plans.

  • GIS Asset Inventory

Digitizes and maps physical stormwater and utility infrastructure to build reliable spatial records.

  • Capital Planning

Develops strategic pathways for public investments and infrastructure maintenance budgets.

  • Comprehensive Planning

Integrates spatial insights and community constraints into broad, long-range development plans.

Environmental Permitting and Compliance

Navigates regulatory frameworks to secure approvals for large-scale development, mining, and infrastructure projects.

  • Regulatory Permitting

Manages environmental permits for complex operations, including extensive industrial and mining reclamation sites.

  • QA/QC of Modeling Inputs and Mapping

Performs quality assurance and quality control on engineering data to ensure accurate regulatory submissions.

Risk and Impact Assessment

Evaluates physical and socioeconomic vulnerabilities to build more resilient communities.

  • Socioeconomic Impact Assessment

Analyzes how environmental hazards and planning decisions affect local populations and economic structures.

  • Vulnerability Assessment

Conducts evaluations aligned with state requirements to identify infrastructure exposed to climate hazards.

Grant Writing and Program Management

Helps public and private entities secure funding and coordinate multi-agency outreach campaigns.

  • HMGP Grant Writing

Designs funding applications for hazard mitigation grant programs to secure resilience investments.

  • Stakeholder and Intergovernmental Outreach

Facilitates communication and coordinates consensus among dozens of government agencies and community groups.
