Industries

Aerospace · Space · Defense · Research Facilities

Projects

Juno Telecom Panel

Space · Client: NASA / JPL

Project details

Generated finite element models of the multilayer panel and its attachments, performed random vibration and thermal stress analyses, and conducted structural integrity evaluations of solid and flex waveguides. Suggested design modifications to overcome excessive panel bow under thermal loads, which were implemented following a Tiger Team review.

Soil Moisture Active-Passive (SMAP) Front End Assembly

Space · Client: NASA / JPL

Project details

Developed finite element models for the Radome and Radiometer Front End assembly. Executed structural configuration, mass reduction, bond analysis, and generated several Radome attachment concepts.

Mars Science Laboratory Robotic Arm Drill

Space · Client: NASA / JPL

Project details

Created fine and coarse mesh finite element models for the robotic arm drill and attached instruments. Performed structural analysis, contact analysis, and configuration evaluations for operational loads, launch environments, and thermal environments.

Mars Helicopter Flight Support

Space · Client: NASA / JPL

Project details

Designed the stowed configuration and analyzed the main chassis of the helicopter, supporting flight tests for the mission.
