Capabilities

Engineering & Simulation

Service website

Envision's engineers apply simulation and design software to assess project feasibility and develop tooling and processes before production begins.

  • FEA Analysis

Draw form simulation proves out part formability before tool design starts; design changes are recommended until positive simulation results are achieved.

  • Tool Design

3D tool design for deep-draw, progressive, transfer, and line dies, as well as gauges.

  • Laser Scanning & Reverse Engineering

Point cloud data accurate to better than 40 microns gathered with laser scan technology; NURBS surfaces created for CAD data recreation or direct rapid-prototype machining.

  • Check & Holding Fixture Design

Check and holding fixtures designed and produced to fulfill production or quality requirements, either as part of an overall tooling project or as standalone work.

Stamping and laser cutting for Class A and general production sheet metal parts, with in-house surface treatment coordination.

  • Stamping

Deep draw forming of Class A parts and progressive and transfer tooling using presses up to 500 tons.

  • Laser Trim

Flat and 5-axis laser cutting with lasers exceeding 4000 watts, capable of cutting steel up to 0.500 inches thick.

  • Surface Treatment

Vendor-network finishing including E-coat, powder coat, galvanized, aluminized, heat treat, and liquid paint applied to e-coated or primed surfaces.

Welding & Fabrication

Service website

TIG welding and fabrication for one-off, prototype, and production manufacturing jobs.

Quality Inspection

Service website

Dimensional inspection and quality assurance using portable and fixed CMM equipment, backed by an ISO 9001:2015-certified QMS covering document control, part traceability, and equipment calibration.

  • Portable CMM Inspection

Romer 7525 SI Laser Line Probe gathers over 50,000 points per second with a 2.5-meter range and repeatability to less than 0.0015 inches; paired with PolyWorks for surface deviation mapping, GD&T reporting, cross-sectioning, and reverse engineering.

  • CMM First Article & Production Checking

Brown & Sharpe 7107 CMM accurate to 0.0005 in., running PCDMIS software, used for tooling and first article approval as well as established-interval production piece checking.

  • Class A Inspection

100% visual inspection of Class A sheet metal parts for surface dents, scratches, paint blemishes, and major shape deviations before parts leave the facility.
