Laboratory analysis covers compaction, gradation, plasticity, consolidation, shear strength, permeability, and relative density to ASTM standards.
- Drilling (CME and Little Beaver rigs)
- Standard and Modified Proctor compaction (ASTM D-698, D-1557)
- Mechanical sieve analysis (ASTM D-422)
- Atterberg limits
- Natural moisture content (ASTM D-2216)
- Consolidation testing (ASTM D-2435)
- Triaxial shear CU with pore pressure
- Permeability (ASTM D-2434)
- Unconfined compression (ASTM D-2166)
- Relative density (ASTM D-2049)
- Hydrometer analysis
- Pinhole dispersity testing
Concrete Testing
Service websiteThe team performs field sampling and laboratory testing of concrete to evaluate strength and durability for construction quality control.
- Field sampling: slump, air content, and cylinder molding
- Cylinder compressive strength (ASTM C-617, C-34)
- Concrete core compressive strength
- Flexural strength (ASTM C-78)
- Gunite cylinder and grout testing
- Soil cement unit weight, gradation, and compressive strength
