Project details

Adaptive reuse of a 1,300,000 SF landmarked 1891 warehouse in NYC's West Chelsea Historic District. DeSimone provided structural design and restoration for the redevelopment into a premier workplace and retail destination, including a new 6-story vertical addition, complex shoring of the landmarked facade during demolition and rebuild, and restoration of historic brick archways originally linking freight trains to the Hudson River.
