David Laird Associates, Inc. is a civil engineering and land surveying practice established in 1960 in Erie, Pennsylvania, serving Northwestern Pennsylvania and Western New York. Founded by David Laird and now led by his son John Laird, P.L.S., the team provides boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and land development planning to government agencies, private developers, and individual property owners. David Laird Associates maintains an extensive historical archive of engineering records dating back to the 1870s, acquired from predecessor firms including ACME Engineers, McManus Engineering, Lake Engineering, and The Supplee Engineering Company.
