Project details

Structural engineering analysis, design, and detailing of a 209-unit, 385,000 SF, five-story mixed-use senior living building. Three floors of wood construction sit on two floors of elevated cast-in-place concrete slabs for approximately half the building footprint; the remaining half is conventional three-to-four-story wood-framed construction bearing on shallow foundations. The podium level slab incorporates an integrated courtyard pool, spa pool, slab folds along the building perimeter, and stud rail reinforcement.
