Projects

Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport (STX) - Terminal Improvements, Phase 1

St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands · Airports · Client: Henry E. Rohlsen International Airport

Project details

Phase 1 included expanding and renovating the existing departure hold room, airline ticket counters, and concessions. The public rest rooms were updated with new finishes, lighting, ceilings, and millwork. Expansion area was approximately 8,055 SF providing an additional 150-200 seats. The total renovated area was 16,755 SF which includes concessions, restrooms, and airline ticket counters. A new interior glass partition was installed to separate inbound passengers from outbound passengers to fully comply with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Procedures. This project was funded through a grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) to meet all federal reporting regulation and Buy American Act requirements.
