Projects

UC Berkeley Hildebrand Hall HVAC Modernization

Berkeley, CA · Laboratories · Client: UC Berkeley

Project details

A renovation of an existing six-story laboratory building to convert the HVAC system from constant volume to variable air volume. The work included adding venturi supply and exhaust valves, converting existing constant volume fume hoods to variable air volume hoods, and modernizing the control system to the campus standardized central ALC system.

OUSD Claremont Multi Purpose Building

Oakland, CA · Education · Client: Oakland Unified School District

Project details

Construction of a new multipurpose building and adjoining all-electric kitchen on the Claremont Middle School campus. The design integrates in-slab radiant tubing for heating and cooling, a central dedicated outdoor air handler, electronically actuated windows operated by the BMS for natural ventilation, and a CO2-based domestic hot water system.

LBNL Building 84 Electrification

Berkeley, CA · Research Facilities · Client: LBNL (UC Berkeley)

Project details

An electrification project for the HVAC and plumbing systems of Building 84 to address persistent entrainment of combustion exhaust. The project involved evaluating site locations for a new electric air-to-water heat pump plant and delivering a comprehensive report covering electrical, mechanical, plumbing, civil, structural, and cost analyses.

Laney College Theater Renovation

Oakland, CA · Education · Client: Peralta College

Project details

A major renovation of an existing four-story theater and classroom building. The scope included converting the existing HVAC system from constant volume to variable air volume, replacing the air handler, and transitioning the decentralized controls to the campus standardized central control system.
