A dual-beam, X/Ku-band, 2D electronically scanned radar system designed for airborne sea-surface and atmospheric measurements. Deployed on NOAA's P-3 aircraft for winter weather missions, it measures significant wave heights, precipitation, ocean surface vector winds, and 3D atmospheric boundary layer winds.
