About the firm
Ackenheil Engineers, Inc. has provided geotechnical and civil engineering services, construction inspection, and materials testing from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania since 1958. Founded by Dr. Alfred C. Ackenheil, a University of Pittsburgh faculty member, the firm maintains an AASHTO accredited laboratory for testing soil, rock, concrete, and asphalt.
